Philadelphia's punk rock progenitors are back with a brand new, face-melting full-length album. The LP, "Thoughts & Prayers", brings a full assault on the listener, both musically and lyrically. Featuring songs such as "Your God is a Demon" and "Big Bad Ugly Stinkin World" Decontrol holds nothing back--proudly announcing to their listeners that ideals such as justice, morality, idiosyncratic humor, and anarchic self-government are not dead--in fact they are needed now more than ever. The trio, comprised of Adam Bomb Avery, and brothers Richie and Rob Birch project incredible energy insuring that "Thoughts & Prayers" will appeal to old-school punks and the contemporary punk scene alike. Having shared the stage with acts such as Husker Du, Dead Kennedys, UK Subs, Discharge, Circle Jerks, The Exploited, and GBH, Decontrol is continuing to solidify their status as one of Philly's legendary punk bands. Just try to stop them.
First single from new BORGHESIA album "Proti kapitulaciji", which will be released on October 23rd on Moonlee Records. Borghesia’s new album is a free-floating retrofuturist industrial art rock epic based on Srečko Kosovel’s modernist poetry that sits somewhere between an alternative soundtrack of Blade Runner, the uncanny ambience of Coil, melancholy of Berlin era David Bowie and immediacy of Nine Inch Nails.
"The Fontana Years" demonstrates a musical marvel which still makes your ears feel like they’re sucking citrus fruits after years of licking ashtrays, while the rings of Saturn crash-land in your front room. This 4CD set brings together the two albums Cocteau Twins recorded for Fontana along with B-Sides, EP’s, Radio One sessions and the odd rarity. The set was mastered at Abbey Road from the original tapes and approved by Robin Guthrie. Housed in a study box designed by James Issacs - the booklet contains photos, a discography from the era as well as a sleeve note by noted author Chris Roberts.
