(2019) Celebrating a momentous 10 years as a band in 2018, The Rumjacks toured right across the globe for most of the year around the release of their latest studio album "Saints Preserve Us". When the band arrived in Greece on 3rd November 2018, they played their one of their biggest ever headline shows to date at the Piraeus 177 Academy in Athens! The energy in the hall that night was electric, and thankfully, the entire show was captured as a live recording. "Live in Athens" is The Rumjacks first ever live album release. 21 blistering songs featuring so many fan favourite songs from their 10+ year career such as "An Irish Pub Song", "Plenty", "A Fistful O’ Roses", "My Time Again", and so many more.
The Hard-Ons are back with their rampaging 12th studio album "So I Could Have Them Destroyed". Clocking in at a concise 30 minutes through 12 tracks, "So I Could Have Them Destroyed" is a wild but focused memorandum of the current incarnation of The Hard-Ons. Original founding member Keish is welcomed back into the fold, joining drummer Murray and co-founders Ray and Blackie.
(2017) Hugo Race više od trideset godina piše pesme, svira, producira, obilazi zemaljsku kuglu izvodeći svoje i tuđe numere, muzicirajući sa sijaset poznatih i nepoznatih faca iz branše. Poslednji projekat neumornog Australijanca je album iz ove godine "John Lee Hooker’s World Today" sa Michelangelom Russoom, a za renomiranog americana izdavača Glitterhouse Records. Radi se o jednoj, po mišljenju kritike vrlo uspešnoj, verziji bluza koji bi John Lee Hooker svirao danas u 21. veku. Iako mu štampa po inerciji učitava pripadnost post-punk žanru, senka JL Hookera prati čitav Raceov opus. Ove "rekonstruisane" obrade bluz božanstva uz podosta elektronike, dašak avangarde i ambijentalne muzike, zvuče kao da Suicide iz doba prvog albuma sviraju delta bluz. Na trenutke zastrašujuće, uz dosta sugestivnog vokala, gitarskog feebacka i kontrolisane narastajuće buke. Race i Russo snimili su album za praktično jedan dan u Berlinu, a snimatelj je bio Boris Wisdorf (Einsturzende Neubauten). U pažljivo odabranih osam numera duo se zavlači pod kožu Hookerovih pesama, duboko u samu srž bluzerovog zvuka uz vanredan krajnji rezultat tj. JLH bluz sedamdeset godina kasnije. Tokom evropske turneje Hugo Race & Michelangelo Russo nastupiće i u Beogradu, u ponedeljak, 13. novembra u KC Grad od 21:30.
