In dulce decorum
The Damned su 1986. objavili svoj 7'' vinil "In Dulce Decorum". Istoimena pesma je originalno bila objavljena na albumu "Anything" (1986), a na B-strani ovog singla našla se takođe pesma sa tog albuma, "Psychomania". Godinu dana kasnije (1987), za nemačkog izdavača MCA objavljena je 12'' verzija, na kojoj su se našle extended i dub/instrumental verzija naslovne pesme, plus već spomenuta "Psychomania".
Inspiraciju za "In Dulce Decorum" bend je našao u antiratnoj pesmi Wilfreda Owena "Dulce et decorum est" (1917). Inače, ona počinje delom govora Winstona Churchilla u Donjem domu Parlamenta, 18. juna 1940. na početku Bitke za Britaniju:
- Stoga, držimo se svojih dužnosti, i uradimo to tako da - čak i kada bi Britanska imperija i Komonvelt trajali još hiljadu godina - ljudi će govoriti: Bio je to njihov najslavniji čas.

On June 15th 1979, Factory Records released a record unllike any other...
Joy Division members found the now truly iconic cover image in the Cambridge Encyclopaedia Of Science. It's the radio-waves emitted by the CP 1919, a pulsating neutron star discovered by Jocelyn Bell Burnell.

To celebrate the anniversary, the band has announced "Unknown Pleasures: Reimagined", a project in which 10 different directors create new music videos for each of the tracks on the album. On June 21st, YouTube is hosting an event in London to premiere a selection of the videos along with a panel between Joy Division drummer Stephen Morris, Matt Everitt, Oran Williams, Feargal Ward, and Adrian Duncan.
Icelandic filmmaking duo Helgi & Hörður take on "Unknown Pleasures" album closer "I Remember Nothing". Their video gets a lot of mileage out of the unearthly beauty of the country’s natural landscapes, staging a violent wrestling match between two men as a bizarre kind of dance.

"The West Knows Best" is the third single from "Le Ceneri Di Heliodoro" (The Ashes of Heliodoro) album, on which witty social commentary is coupled with neofolk's finest brand of sarcasm. Screw the Rest, The West Knows Best - Reuter sings of the fall of the West and one can only wonder at the tongue-in-cheek sentiments portrayed in this inadvertent sing-along of the reluctant capitalist and its unapologetic portrayal of today's plague-ridden relations between the formerly new West and the Old Heart of Europe. All hail the stumbling the child, coiling for the vanishing light. The B-side is a gripping and freshly recorded live-version of one of ROME's absolute classics "One Fire", a song originally issued as part of ROME's seminal "A Passage to Rhodesia" back in 2014. This anthem which constitutes an inherent part of each and every live show was recorded at Heliopolis Studios in Reuter's adopted home of Eumesville.
