Toyah Wilcox's new album "Posh Pop" is a strong collection of infectious and affirmative pop songs that are as joyous as they are reflective, from the cosmic groove of "Space Dance", to the sun-kissed anthem of unity "Summer Of Love". The album features musicians Simon Darlow (guitars, keyboards, cello), Bobby Willcox (guitar) and Jeremy Stacey (drums). "Posh Pop" opens with the energy-burst of "Levitate" and leads the listener on a journey that climaxes in the soaring, intergalactic-tinged "Take Me Home".

Deluxe CD+DVD edition includes a bonus video album. Toyah has directed a video to accompany each of the ten songs on "Posh Pop", with appearances from Simon Darlow, Bobby Willcox and Ellie Williams.

For the first time in over 20 years there is new Strange Boutique music to share; a new EP, featuring the single "Jet Stream". And, just because it felt good we revisited "We Treat the Blindness" (1991) this rendition, dubbed "Blindness”, swings and sways in all the right ways. Lastly, a loving Boutique style folktale disguised as a neo-glam-romp. “Lightfoot Floyd” tells the story of our original guitar Superman. May the tale be told. For the first time ever they handed our tracks to a couple of like minded, sympathetic friends and gave them carte blanche to reimagine, reinvent, rework and remix “Jet Stream” into whatever they fancied.

16. oktobra 1981. godine su Bauhaus (prozvani kumovima gothrocka) objavili svoj drugi studijski album "Mask". Na albumu su singlovi "Kick in The Eye" i "The Passion of Lovers", koji su proširili lepezu instrumenata u zvučnom repertoaru benda upotrebom klavijatura i akustičnih gitara (u PoL), kao i fanki ritmovima i saksofonima (KitE) zahvaljujući umeću gitariste Daniela Eša, koji to takođe čini na numerama "Dancing" i "In Fear of Fear".

Eš je takođe dizajnirao omot albuma, preteču njegovog Bubbleman Designsa, koji će kasnije uobličiti na četvrtom (i poslednjem) studijskom albumu Bauhaus "Burning From The Inside", kao i na albumima potonjih bendova Tones On Tail i Love and Rockets (u suštini - Bauhaus minus Piter Marfi, što smo već videli i čuli na dobrom delu spomenutog poslednjeg albuma Bauhaus).

Spot za naslovnu numeru albuma snimljen je u napuštenoj viktorijanskoj fabrici cipela u Northemptonu, njihovom rodnom gradu, kao očigledan omaž horor filmovima iz 70-ih. Inače, bend nije dobio dozvolu da tu zgradu koristi za snimanje spota pa se cela ekipa jednostavno tamo ušunjala i odradila produkciju.

"Mask" je definitivni gothic rock i post-punk album, na kome se pored muzike naročito ističu kohezivni stihovi Daniela Eša, braće Dejvida i Kevina Heskinsa i Pitera Marfija, koji su zajedno dali sve od sebe da stvore jedan od najboljih albuma tog žanra i vremena.

The internet and social media have radically affected people’s freedoms and manipulability and characters mentioned in the 1980s songs are brought forward 40 years in their lives to illustrate some of these changes.
